Lab Introduction

DELAB is a research laboratory that uses artificial intelligence to extract valuable information from various domain data. Recently, we are researching topics such as anomaly detection in video images using generative models, automatic database tuning based on reinforcement learning, time series forecasting, and artificial intelligence-based drug design. Our laboratory has been chosen as an SW Star Lab laboratory and aims to secure core source technologies for SW∙AI and promote core talent development. So far, our laboratory has produced six professors and alumni are working at Google Korea, Google Japan, Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, etc. In addition, we have been chosen for the innovative talent nurturing project of the KAIA(Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement), receiving a lot of support for nurturing talent. We are also very interested in solving practical problems, so our laboratory is researching to discover novel liver cancer-targeted anticancer drugs using deep learning in cooperation with Seoul ST. Mary's Hospital with support from the National Research Foundation of Korea.
